We held our graduation party for the 2019 graduates Friday, June 7th, 2019.
Ten of them attended the party. We used the opportunity to advise the new graduates and shared some after school stories. We discussed parents, family and friends expectations now that they are done with high school. We also encouraged them to always be in touch with Anansi as well as offer to support other new scholars.
Again, we asked the graduates of feedbacks they have for us. It was mostly positive and contributions. One suggested we adding business submit and career talks to our annual meetings. It will get the students well prepared before exiting from school. This will be infused into our program going forwards.
In all, the outing with the graduates was success.
