The following three sets of prices are all for the same ten day trips in Cote d'Ivoire. The difference in price depends primarily on the choice of lodging. Airfare is included in the following prices; however, breakfast is the only meal included.

2. Economy Hotel Stay in Côte d'Ivoire

Cost for Single Occupancy: $2,400, Double Occupancy: $2100

Day 1 – Arrive and settle in.

Day 2 – Accra - see the market and the museum

Day 3 – Visit and explore Cape Coast castles

Day 4 – Kakum National Park

Day 5 - Travel to Kumasi

Day 6 – Visit the Cultural Art Center and the market

Day 7 – Visit artisans in nearby villages

Day 8 – Travel back to Accra

Day 9 – Shop for treasures in special shops

Day 10 – Fly home forever changed.

Two week Ghana travel:

Airfare is included in the following prices; however, breakfast is the only meal included. This tour can be modified by Anansi to suit your individual interests and expectations. Get in touch as soon as possible to start the exciting planning part of your adventure.

Sample itinerary plan for the above lodging options:

Day 1 – You will be met at the Airport in Accra by your African guide who will accompany you to your hotel in Accra.

Day 2 – Explore the Accra market, museum and beach.

Day 3 – Continue your exploration of Accra

Day 4 – Travel to Cape Coast

Day 5 – Visit the Elmina Castle and Kakum National Park.

Day 6 – Enjoy exploring Cape Coast

Day 7 – Travel to Kumasi

Day 8 – Visit Lake Bosomtwei, Bonwire kente weaving, the Pamkrono and Ahwia sculptures and the Adinkra cloth makers

Day 9 – Experience the world of the Ashanti Nation with visits to the Okofo Anokye Krom Cultural Center, the Kwame Nkroma Central Market, and the Ashanti Museum in the Chief’s Palace.

Day 10 – Travel north to Mole Park or to the Volta Region in the southeast.

Day 11 – Go on the walking safaris in Mole or take a river boat ride on the Lotto river in Volta.

Day 12 – Return to Accra.

Day 13 – Enjoy your last full day in Ghana.

Day 14 – Leave for home forever changed.

Payment of fees:

$100 U.S. non-refundable earnest money will be sent to Anansi Travel at the beginning of the planning stage of your trip. This fee will be applied to the cost of your trip. One half of the cost of your travel plans will be due three months prior to your departure, and the full amount one month before departure for West Africa.
