Mole National Park - Anansi Travel

Located in the northwest part of Ghana, Mole Park is the largest game park in West Africa. Here you will see elephants, baboons, monkeys, warthogs, antelope, birds and a few, but not too many, tourists. The hotel in the Park is reasonably priced with good food and a swimming pool. It is, however, a bit of a chore to get to the Park. The bus schedules from Tamale are not always reliable and catching a bus at the Tamale junction if coming from Kumasi can be chancy. Add to that the fact that the road is rough from the junction - it makes sense to use an Anansi guide to help or to hire a taxi either from Tamale or Kumasi.

The Park guides are knowledgeable as well as friendly. The walking safaris are a must with one early in the morning and one late in the afternoon.
