African Cooking - Anansi Travel

If you like spicy food, you will love African cuisine, and Alice can show you how to cook each exotic dish.

You will be welcome to taste and make some of these foods: Kontomire (a kind of leaves) Stew, Palm Nut Soup, Peanut Soup with Fried Chicken, Agusi Soup, Fried Ripe Plantain, Bean Stew with Fried Yams, Jell of Rice, Wachie (rice and red beans) with some stew, Ofam (ripe banana mixed with flour to make cake), Banku with Okro Soup, and Kenke with fresh fried fish.

Alice says,"You shouldn't think about having problems eating this African food. What can cause problem is if you drink unfiltered water, and we have filtered water everywhere in West Africa. Those who don't like spicy food, they shouldn't worry. We can cook what they can eat."
