Lodging in Ghana
Though by no means a full list of accommodations in Ghana, the following businesses are known to and recommended by Anansi.
There are tourist hotels and African hotels. African hotels, where it is possible to stay at budget prices, are not always as clean as westerners demand, but medium priced, comfortable hotels are available. If, after being in Africa for a time, you find that your point of reference has changed, your African guide will know the best "cheap" hotels for you. This option gives an additional choice for flexible use of your funds.

Hans Cottage
This warm welcoming place, owned by Kwesi Hanson and operated by his gracious family and staff, has been a friend to Anansi for years. The "botel" offers rooms for every budget, a restaurant, internet cafe, swimming pool, music, and bountiful wildlife.
Some of the African wildlife that resides at Hans Cottage includes weaverbirds during the day, egrets in the evening, crocodiles, and monkeys. This sampling of indigenous wildlife makes Hans Cottage a great place to stay on the way to and from Kakum National Park.
Just four kilometers north of Cape Coast, Hans Cottage is centrally located to Kakum National Park and Elmina. For more information, please visit their website at www.hansbotel.com
